New hair treatment and dermaroller.

So I've been using the Neutrogena Daily Control consistently for a month and then my scalp started acting out around the time I got the flu so I went back to the Neutrogena T/Gel which really dried out my hair. After a while I bought some Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment which I used for the past 3 washes and it has made a very nice difference to my hair.
I also did some root touch up with 50% henna / 50% cassia last week and after I applied it to the roots, I mixed the rest with Redken Frizz Dismiss Conditioner and applied it to the length. After leaving it on for 4 hours, I rinsed it out then did a CO with Garnier Hair Care Fructis Pure Clean Conditioner then did my treatment with Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment. My hair feels really nice. I am having a problem keeping the henna on my temples. I believe it is because I exfoliate my face every day and I don't do this in a mirror so I go over the temple hair as well, which is why the henna does not stay there beyond a day.
I haven't been able to trim my hair yet. My hair is not at APL right now and it's very difficult to see what I am doing, but the ends need a trim badly so I'm hoping soon I will be able to do that. I was hoping I'd hit APL in January but it's nearing the end of February and I'm still not there. I'll take a photo in March if I pass the towel test in the mirror first.
My husband has been raving about dermaroller .5 mm as a way to regenerate hair follicles. I got one also, but for my skin so I got a dermaroller .25 and some Amara Organics Vitamin C Serum to try it out. I haven't done that yet. If you're reading this and never heard about dermaroller, youtube some progress videos the results are pretty amazing and it's a fairly affordable product.
